From Brainstorming to Final Draft
The SASC offers writing support to all matriculated UNE students. SASC peer and professional writing consultants assist you with all aspects of the writing process from brainstorming and creating drafts to the final revision. The goal of our writing support program is to assist in developing and improving your written presentation of ideas and information to present your work clearly. Writing is an active learning process where you maintain control of the paper’s authorship.
Biddeford Campus students can make an appointment with a writing consultant through the Navigate 360 app. Portland Campus for the Health Sciences and UNE Online students can use the TutorTrac schedule software, found on the Okta dashboard or at une.tutortrac.com. Students can also contact the Student Academic Success Center in Biddeford at (207) 602-2443 or Portland at (207) 221-4247 or sasc@une.edu.

As a UNE online graduate student, the writing support center has enhanced my learning experience. I have worked with Lori from the writing center several times and her feedback after each session is encouraging. After each writing session, I make the necessary edits to my paper prior to submission. Furthermore, I have noticed an increase in my writing confidence and capabilities.
