Why UNE?
When looking for a university, I was looking for a school that met all of my wants and needs for involvement, nursing, travel, and life experiences. For a nursing program, I was searching for a school that had a high passing rate for the NCLEX as well as a school that looked at students as a whole-rounded person, rather than just a number on a piece of paper. I was also looking for a school that offered a study abroad opportunity that nursing students could participate in, and the fact that UNE's is an entire semester's worth practically sold me. Having a global experience for my nursing education was crucial. Looking at the social aspect, I wanted a welcoming and family feeling when I stepped on campus, and I found that here! Everyone was so happy and joyous with open arms the moment I came to campus, and it just felt right.
