As our health care system grows more and more complex due to technological advances, changing economic patterns, and health care reform, the role of the nurse anesthetist evolves to include increasing collaboration with a wide range of other health professionals. UNE is one of only a handful of private universities in the U.S. with a comprehensive health education mission that includes medicine, pharmacy, dental medicine, nursing and an array of allied health professions.

UNE's interprofessional education initiatives prepare you to practice comprehensive and collaborative team-based care through interprofessional curricula, programs, clinical practice sites, research, scholarship, and training.
