As a student in the UNE School of Pharmacy, you belong to a tight-knit group of supportive individuals who participate in clubs and events together outside the classrooms and labs. You do more than just learn and work together; you pursue a shared passion and enjoy much-needed downtime.
You participate in community-building events like our annual spring Awards and Honors Ceremony, which gives faculty, students, and professional staff a chance to recognize those outstanding persons who go above and beyond each academic year. You also have the opportunity to join several pharmacy clubs and fraternities that operate on campus.
Portland, Maine, is the backdrop for your education. Our campus sits on a 41-acre parcel just 10 minutes from the downtown waterfront. Portland offers the diversity of a modern city, as well as cobblestone streets, historic architecture and scenic biking and walking trails. In 2010, it was ranked among the 20 most livable small cities for college students by the American Institute for Economic Research. In 2009, Forbes.com ranked it first on a list of "America's Most Livable Cities."
