You will meet with your academic advisor several times during your first year. First, at Freshman Orientation and twice during the academic year for Pre-Registration Advising to discuss your courses for the upcoming semester. Also, if your advisor is notified of any academic difficulties you may be experiencing they will reach out to you. Your advisor is always available by appointment for any questions you may have during the semester.
Professional Academic Advisors work with the following students
First year Business students majoring in Business Administration and Sport and Recreation Management, as well as first year Psychology students majoring in Psychology, Animal Behavior, Neuroscience will be advised by Erin Krummell.
First and second year students on the Pre-Pharmacy track will be advised by Sarah Vincent.
If your major is not listed above you will be assigned a faculty member from the department of your major and you can use the Find My Advisor information to learn more.
*Faculty Advisors will be updated a few weeks prior to the beginning of the academic year.
Peer Advisors are current UNE students who work with the Academic Advising Center to develop and present programming helpful to first-year students as they get acquainted with UNE and college life.
