Why UNE
As soon as I stepped foot on this campus for my first tour I fell in love with everything about this school. From the beautiful waterfront location to the wonderful study abroad programs. However, most importantly I loved the Pre-Vet track I could go on while still studying Animal Behavior. There are so many interesting and unique classes to take in my major as well as my minor, while still taking classes required for veterinary school.
Favorite class
My favorite classes thus far have been Animal Cognition and Introduction to Neurobiology. I also loved my Society in Latin America class. There has not been a single class that I have taken not liked. They are all interesting and maintain a good balance of being challenged and learning the information, while not being overwhelming and stressful because I feel like I am lost. The class sizes are also something I really like about this school.
Go-to local place to eat
Cowbell Burger Bar or Portland Pie
Favorite spot on campus
The deck right off of the library that overlooks the Saco River and the Ripich Commons lawn!
