UNE began a strategic planning process in August 2017 shortly after the inauguration of James Herbert as the new president. Working with administrative leaders, faculty, professional staff, students, an outside consulting firm, our board of trustees, UNE alums, our regional partners, and our other stakeholders, we will build a shared vision for the future of UNE and an implementation plan for achieving that vision. Our goal is to complete the development of the new strategic plan and formally approve and adopt it by Fall 2018. For more information see our Strategic Planning website. In the coming months please look here for an emerging list of academic priorities and the plans for their implementation.
