As a Business Administration or Sport and Recreation Management major, you may pursue an internship position in support of UNE’s Athletics Department. These internships enable you to work in facilities equipped with the latest sport management and sports information technology.

Harold Alfond Athletics Complex

Thanks in part to a $10 million grant from the Harold Alfond Foundation, UNE embarked in 2010 on creating this $20 million complex on our seaside Biddeford Campus. The 100,000+ square-foot complex includes an ice hockey rink, basketball arena, fitness center, multi-purpose indoor practice courts, and observation decks and work spaces for sports information and management. The complex sits beside our distinctive blue turf field.

Campus Center

Our campus center is a multi-purpose facility that includes space for intramural and recreational sports and fitness programs. These spaces include the James A. Beaudry Gymnasium and a six-lane, 25-yard-long swimming pool.
