Our minor in Business Administration provides you with a set of workplace skills to complement the discipline-specific knowledge you gain in your major. Through the minor, you engage in coursework in Management, Marketing, Financial Accounting and Economics.

The 18-credit program also allows you the flexibility to choose two or more electives, so that you can tailor the program to best-serve your professional goals. Whether you aspire to a career in marine biology, health care, psychology, communications or a wide range of other fields, understanding how a market works will help you succeed.

Minor in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship is a rapidly evolving discipline of solving real-world social problems using best practices from entrepreneurship, business, and several STEM disciplines. The focus of the minor’s required classes will be on applying the social innovation and entrepreneurship processes to real-world problems. Example problems include improving stroke therapies, preventing childhood obesity, fighting neurotoxic algae due to climate change, etc.
