The UNE College of Pharmacy Office of Continuing Education provides evidence-based educational opportunities that advance professional competence for pharmacists and technicians, meeting recertification and licensure requirements.
Philosophy
The Office of Continuing Education is dedicated to providing the highest quality of Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE) programs for faculty, alumni, and members of the pharmacy community. We seek to serve the educational needs of pharmacy professionals (pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, scientists, and researchers) within our institution, the state of Maine, Northern New England, and beyond.
Goals
- Provide activities that meet educational needs of pharmacists for licensure and or recertification requirements.
- Provide activities that meet educational needs of technicians for licensure or recertification requirements.
- Provide CPE activities at multiple locations throughout New England, working with co-providers to ensure accessibility to learning activities.
- Utilize assessment data for continuous development and improvement of the CPE program.
The Office of Continuing Education strives to strengthen and promote the highest quality continuing pharmacy education programs possible by adhering to the standards set forth by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education.
