Campuses

Biddeford

Our waterfront campus in Biddeford, Maine, offers more than 4,000 feet of scenic shoreline where the Saco River flows into the Atlantic Ocean.

The campus includes the College of Arts and Sciences, which offers more than 30 undergraduate majors, and the College of Osteopathic Medicine, which offers the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree. The campus also houses the Harold Alfond Center for the Health Sciences, the Marine Science Center, and the Harold Alfond Forum

Portland

Our campus in the coastal city of Portland, Maine, provides a quintessential New England quad lined by buildings that have been welcoming students for more than a century.

The campus houses Maine's only College of Dental Medicine, the College of Pharmacy and the Westbrook College of Health Professions. The 41-acre campus also includes the Center for Global Humanities, Art Gallery and Maine Women Writers Collection.

Tangier

We opened our Tangier Campus in January 2014. Housed on the grounds of the American School of Tangier, the campus provides easy access to downtown, the beach and the major cultural activities the city has to offer.

Our Maine students can spend a semester or academic year in Tangier, taking courses taught in English as they stay on track with their majors and explore the culture of Morocco and city of Tangier at no additional cost.

History

Building upon the traditions of St. Francis College and Westbrook College, the University of New England has grown and evolved for more than a century. Now encompassing three campuses, more than 40 undergraduate majors, six Centers of Excellence in Research, a College of Osteopathic Medicine, a College of Pharmacy and Northern New England's only College of Dental Medicine, our institution is poised for progress.
