As as student in our Department of Business, you gain the knowledge and hands-on experience necessary for a range of different business careers. We offer small classes that present hands-on approaches to learning and prepare you for internships through which you hone your skills. By the time you graduate, you possess the skills and confidence to succeed in today's competitive business world.
Business Administration major
You gain a strong base of knowledge in the functional areas of business, including accounting, business law, economics, finance, management and marketing.
Business Administration minor
Whether you aspire to a career in marine biology, sport management, psychology, communications or another field, understanding how a market works will help you succeed.
You gain a foundation in economic analysis and learn how the underlying principles of economics may be applied to other disciplines.
Sport and Recreation Management major
You prepare for a career on the business side of sports, studying the theory, technology and best practices of recreation, athletic and sport administration.
Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship minor
You will study how to apply the social innovation and entrepreneurship processes to real world problems, including stroke therapies, childhood obesity, and neurotoxic algae due to climate change.
