Dine and Discover
These monthly sessions focus on varying health, wellness, fitness, and nutrition topics. The presenters are engaging, concise, local experts in their respective fields. Sessions are offered at lunch and/or dinner time. (Free to the UNE community).
Every month, we host an interactive workshop designed to help improve your health. They are open to all ability levels and cover a variety of different focuses. Past events have included Power Lifting 101, Running Form, Guided Relaxation, and Meditation.
The Student Health Advisory Council (SHAC) is a student-run organization. Through interaction with university officials, student health services, university health care system, students, faculty, professional staff, and outlining organizations, SHAC will work to improve health awareness and overall wellness of the university and surrounding community. This organization is open to all matriculated students within UNE.
