IRS FAQ on 2020 Form W-4
The IRS has also published Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) that you may find helpful as you complete the form available at the IRS website. The redesigned 2020 Federal W-4 Form is effective 1/1/2020.
- Early January: Review your federal tax withholding for appropriate income tax withholding for 2020. To conduct the federal tax checkup, you can use the IRS’s Tax Withholding Estimator (www.irs.gov/W4App). If you are making changes, make sure to use the new 2020 Federal W-4 Form. The 2020 Form W-4, "Employees Withholding Certificate,” is very different from previous versions. Please see the Information for the New 2020 W-4 Federal Tax Form for a deeper understanding of the new form and how to effectively use the estimator.

Payroll salary schedules, including payroll start and end dates and pay dates, are available on U-Online, in the Employee Services section, under HR/Payroll Downloadable Forms.
Common payroll forms
To access the Hourly Staff Bi-Weekly Time Sheet, the Institutional (Department) Student Employment Bi-Weekly Time Sheet, and the Federal Work-Study Time Sheet please log into U-Online and select Employee Services and then HR/Payroll Downloadable Forms and Policies.
Web time entry (WTE) is a web-based time entry system designed to improve accuracy and eliminate loss or delays in paper processing of physical timesheets. Currently, the WTE system is available for federal work-study students to log into a secure website and enter hours worked from any computer with Internet access.
