IRS Release of 2019 Withholding Tables, Publications
The 2019 Federal Payroll Withholding Tables will be used to calculate the taxes on the upcoming payrolls (1/26 for bi-weekly hourly paid employees and 1/30 for semi-monthly paid exempt employees).
IRS FAQ's on Early Release of 2020 Form W-4
The IRS provides answers to frequently asked questions regarding the new Form W-4 which redesign is expected to be released effective 1/1/2020 at the following link: https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/faqs-on-the-early-release-of-the-2020-form-w-4. Please note no current action is required or recommended for faculty and professional staff and further information will be provided as the IRS finalizes the revised W-4 form for 2020.
- The first pay date for the Fall Semester 2019 for nine-month faculty is 9/13/19.
- The first pay date for the Fall Semester 2019 for Federal Work Study students is 9/16/19 for the work period from 8/26/19 through 9/8/19 (time sheets are due 9/9/19).

Common Payroll Forms
To access the Hourly Staff Bi-Weekly Time Sheet, the Institutional (Department) Student Employment Bi-Weekly Time Sheet, and the Federal Work Study Time Sheet please log into U-Online and select Employee Services and then HR/Payroll Downloadable Forms and Policies.
WTE is a web-based time entry system designed to improve accuracy and eliminate loss or delays in paper processing of physical time sheets. Currently, the WTE system is available for federal work study students to log into a secure website and enter hours worked from any computer with Internet access.
